During August 2025, Ramakrishna Math, Dakshineswar organized several programmes for youths and students, focusing on patriotic values, character-building, and educational upliftment.
Independence Day & Youth Programmes
- 15 August 2025: The Ashrama celebrated the 79th Independence Day with flag hoisting. A Yuva Shibir was conducted at Mayer Naba Nahabat, attended by 24 youths. Swami Vedanuraganandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna Mission, Rahara, delivered the keynote address. Sessions emphasized self-transformation, man-making, and nation-building. The programme concluded with a visit to the Bhavatarini Temple.
Educational and Student Activities
- 16 August 2025: A valedictory-cum-orientation programme was held for students of Swami Vivekananda Computer Centre. Certificates and prizes were awarded to top performers, and a scholarship was given to a B.Com student who scored 95%. Motivational sessions on Swamiji’s life were conducted, followed by noon prasad.
- 25–26 August 2025: A values education initiative was held at Sarvamangala School, Ariadaha. Free books were earlier distributed, followed by a written examination on 26 August for Classes VII to XI.
