The Ramakrishna On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 20 April 2026, an Akhanda Japa Yajna was organized at Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Contai. The spiritual programme was held in the temple from sunrise to sunset, spanning from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The day-long session of contemplative prayer concluded with the collective chanting of the chorus song “Ramakrishna Sharanam”. The event was attended by monastics, staff members, and more than 450 devotees who participated in the spiritual atmosphere of the Yajna.
As part of the day’s arrangements, cooked noon prasad was served to approximately 250 devotees. In the evening, payasam prasad was distributed to about 300 devotees.
Following the Sandhya Arati, a discourse was delivered by Swami Mayadhishananda, who spoke on the spiritual significance of Akshaya Tritiya. The programme concluded with a session of devotional chorus bhajans.
