The 121st Annual Sports Meet and Home Day of Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Chennai, were celebrated on 7th and 8th February 2026.
The Sports Meet was inaugurated by Sri C. Renganathan, CEO, Chennai Metco Pvt. Ltd., and Swami Atmaghanananda ji, Senior Monk of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai. They also distributed prizes to the students. The programme featured various sports events, cultural performances, a gymnastic display, and a drama presented by students of the Polytechnic College and High School. More than 2,000 parents and students were served full-day food prasad.
The Home Day function was presided over by Swami Tanmayanandaji Maharaj, Senior Monk of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai. The Chief Guest was Sri N. Murali, Founder and Director of Shuter Enterprises India Pvt. Ltd., and Shuddha Manufacturing India Pvt. Ltd., and an alumnus of the Home. The Special Guest was Padma Bhushan Dr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chettiar, Vice-President of the Home.
More than 3,000 people partook of dinner prasad during the celebration.
