An awareness programme on Rabies was successfully conducted at Brahmanandodayam School, run by Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady, for 250 students from both the Lower Primary (L.P.) and Upper Primary (U.P.) sections.
The session was held on 17 September 2025 with the objective of educating young students about the dangers of rabies, its prevention, and first-aid measures in case of animal bites.
The programme was led by Sri Ranjith K. Joy, Education Officer, WorldWide Veterinary Service, who delivered informative and interactive sessions. Active participation by the students was observed, and valuable insights into health, hygiene, and animal safety were gained.
