Bal Sanskar Shivir: Indore, March 2026

From 13 to 27 March 2026, Ramakrishna Mission, Indore, conducted a two-week Bal Sanskar Shivir for approximately 100 children (boys and girls) aged 9–18 years. The program focused on nurturing cultural, moral, and physical development through daily sessions.

The shivir’s curriculum included:

  • Physical & Creative Activities: Yoga, physical exercises, sports such as Kho-Kho, and art and craft sessions.
  • Spiritual & Cultural Learning: Bhajans, recitation of the Sundarakanda, and doha recitation competitions.
  • Value Education: Personality development sessions based on the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and quiz competitions.
  • Nutrition: Daily serving of nutritious snacks, including poha, upma, and fresh fruits.

The camp was managed by a team of five teachers and five youth volunteers. At the conclusion of the event, winners of various competitions were awarded prizes, and all participants received Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature.
