The Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Contai, successfully organized a three-day residential Bhakta Sammelan (Devotees’ Convention) from October 3rd to 5th, 2025. The event was held at the Abhedananda Sabhagriha and was attended by 215 devotees.

The Sammelan was designed to provide a deep, immersive spiritual experience. The program schedule was comprehensive, covering various aspects of spiritual practice and devotion:

  • Spiritual Practices: Included sessions of Gita chanting, Bhagavat path (reading of scriptures), puspanjali (floral offerings), and guided meditation.
  • Discourses: Featured speeches and discussions on the core messages of the Holy Trio—Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
  • Key Speakers: Eminent monks delivered inspiring talks, including Swami Achyutatmanandaji Maharaj, Swami Ritanandaji Maharaj, Swami Urjitanandaji Maharaj, and Swami Mayadhishanandaji Maharaj, alongside other participating monks.
  • Devotional Songs and Narrations: Included vibrant sessions of bhajan (devotional songs) and Leelagiti (songs narrating the divine play of the Lord).
  • Interactive Sessions: The program also featured a dedicated question-answer session, allowing devotees to clarify doubts and deepen their understanding of spiritual topics.

The residential nature of the Sammelan fostered an atmosphere of collective devotion and learning, leaving the participating 215 devotees with renewed inspiration and commitment to their spiritual journey.
