Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Medinipur, successfully organized a three-day Bhakta Sammelan (Devotees’ Convention) from October 3 to October 5, 2025. The convention, aimed at deepening the spiritual life of devotees, commenced on Ekadashi (October 3rd) with a soul-stirring session of Ram Nam Sankirtan led by the Ashrama’s monks. The entire program was coordinated by Swami Prarthananandaji Maharaj, the Adhyaksha of the Medinipur Ashrama.
The central focus of the Sammelan was the profound spiritual message of the Holy Trio: Sri Sri Thakur (Ramakrishna), Sri Maa (Sarada Devi), and Swamiji (Swami Vivekananda). The gathering was graced by the presence of revered visiting monks who delivered valuable and enthusiastic speeches, including Swami Stavapriyanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Ramharipur, and Swami Ekavratanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of the Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Students’ Home, Belgharia. All the resident monks of the Ashrama actively participated, leading various discussions and path (readings) on the teachings of the Holy Trio.
The convention saw a strong attendance, with more than 250 devotees participating. These attendees travelled from various regions, including Paschim Medinipur, Purba Medinipur, and Jhargram districts, reflecting the widespread appeal of the Mission’s spiritual and intellectual offerings.
