The concluding programmes of the year-long Centenary Celebrations of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kanpur, have been successfully completed. As part of the concluding series of events, the following programmes were organized from 4 November to 12 November, 2025:
1. Sri Durga Saptashati Havan: On 4 November 2025, Sri Durga Saptashati Havan was performed in the Ashrama premises under the guidance of Revered Swami Tattvavidananda Ji Maharaj and assisted by Swami Natarajananda, Swami Nityadipananda, Swami Suprajnanananda, and Swami Nareshwarananda. On this occasion, 350 devotees and students of our school participated. Prasad was served to all.
2. Special Worship of Maa Saraswati and Sri Thakur: On 5 November 2025, special worship and Havan of Maa Saraswati and Sri Thakur was performed in the school premises by Revered Swami Tattvavidananda Ji Maharaj. On this occasion, about 300 students and devotees were present and prasad was served to them all.
3. Three-Day Pravachan Series on Ramcharitmanas: From 7 to 9 November 2025, pravachan on the Ramcharitmanas was delivered by Swami Sukhananda Ji, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Bhuj, Gujarat, in the Ashrama’s Vivekananda Hall. An average of 40 devotees attended the programme each day.
4. Bhajan Sandhya: On 11 November 2025, Bhajan Sandhya was organized in the Ashrama’s Vivekananda Hall. Swami Divyanathananda of the Vedanta Society, Japan, rendered melodious bhajans in Hindi, accompanied on tabla by Shri Amarnath Chakraborty. Around 40 devotees attended the event.
5. Bhajan Sandhya: On 12 November 2025, another Bhajan Sandhya was held in the Ashrama’s Vivekananda Hall. Swami Samapriyananda sang devotional songs in Hindi, with tabla accompaniment by Shri Amarnath Chakraborty. About 50 devotees were present on this occasion.
