Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol held its Convocation 2026 ceremony on Friday, 25 September 2026, at the Sri Ramakrishna Auditorium within the Ashrama premises. The function marked the formal conferment of certificates upon trainees of the Ashrama’s Private Industrial Training Institute (Pvt. ITI) who successfully completed their respective courses during the sessions 2024–2026 and 2025–2026, with a total of 193 trainees receiving certificates across the following trades:

The ceremony was attended by approximately 450 persons, comprising monks, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.
Sri Kalyan Chakraborty, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, DIT & E, DST & B, DFPI & H, Government of West Bengal, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The following dignitaries were also present:

The Welcome Address was delivered by the Ashrama, recounting the history and development of the institution and acknowledging the contributions of AMC, ADDA, IPCL, GPPL, SAIL/IISCO, and other industry partners towards its growth.
The Hon’ble Minister, in his address, underscored the importance of technical education and its role in shaping the future of the nation. Sri Krishnendu Mukherjee and Mr. Jitendra Kumar encouraged the passing-out trainees to move beyond their comfort zones and work towards a broader vision. Sri Tapas Banerjee and Mr. B. S. Jayant urged the trainees to discharge their professional responsibilities with honesty and dignity.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
