COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services By Ramakrishna Mission, Bagerhat, Bangladesh


Ramakrishna Mission, Bagerhat distributed dry ration kit like Rice 260kg,  Dal 52kg,   Potato 52kg,  Edible oil 26 litres, Salt 53kg to 52 poor and needy families at Ramakrishna Ashrama, Panjakhola & Deuatala, Morelgonj, Bagerhat District on September 26,  2020.

The centre distributed dry ration kit – Rice 310kg, Dal 62kg, Potato 62kg, Edible oil 31 litres, Salt 62kg to 62 poor and needy families at Ramakrishna Sevashram, Kamarol, Terakhada, Khulna District on August 27, 2020.

The centre distributed dry ration kit – Rice 250kg,  Dal 50kg,   Potato 50kg,  Edible oil 25 litres, Salt 50kg among 50 families at P. C. College Road, Bagerhat District from 24 to 26 July 2020.

The centre distributed dry ration kit like Rice 250kg, Dal 50kg, Potato 50kg, Edible oil 25 litres, Salt 50kg, Facemask 50 pcs & Soap 50 pcs to 50 poor and needy families at Mayerbari, Satkhira District on 19 June 2020.



On 18 May 2020, the ashrama distributed dry ration kit like Rice 420kg, Dal 104kg, Potato 104kg, Edible oil 52 litres, Salt 52kg to 104 families at Rahatermoor, Harinkhana, Munigonj, Malopara around the areas of Bagerhat District.

On 28 April 2020, the ashrama distributed dry ration kit like rice 750kg,  dal 150kg,  atta-57kg,  potato 250kg,  edible oil 40 litres, salt 50kg,  bathing soap 160pcs  & detergent powder-10kg to 160 families at Ajgara, Terakhada, Khulna & around the areas of Bagerhat District.

On 04 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 20 poor and needy families at Bagerhat town.

On 3 April 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 20 poor and needy families at Khejuria, Dacope, Khulna.

On 30 and 31 March 2020, the ashrama distributed ration kits to 77 poor and needy families.



In the wake of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Ramakrishna Mission, Bagerhat, Bangladesh, is carrying out its relief works from door to door of poverty-stricken people surrounding the Bagerhat District town (Muniganj, Harikhali, Amlapara and Nagerbazar) those who face difficulty due to lockdown in Bangladesh. Bagerhat ashrama has also campaigned for the awareness for safety from coronavirus infection, as have been instructed by the Bangladesh government.

On 28 and 29 March 2020 food packets were served to 60 underprivileged families. Food item for each family includes 2 kg rice, 1 kg dal, 500 gm salt, cooking oil, soap and mask.

The ashrama will continue the service.

Local police and volunteers are helping actively in the relief operation.
