Devotees’ Convention: Kalyani, January 2026

On 11 January 2026, Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani, hosted a Devotees’ Convention at the Vivekananda Auditorium. The event was structured into two sessions and featured a comprehensive program of Japa-Dhyana, spiritual discourses, and interactive discussions.

The convention included the following keynote lectures:

  • Swami Umapadanandaji Maharaj (Ramakrishna Mission, Saradapith, Bose House) spoke on the theme ‘Tyag o Sevar Murta Pratima – Sri Maa Sarada’.
  • Swami Ekabratananda (Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Belgharia) delivered a discourse titled ‘Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhava Sadhana’.
  • Swami Nityamuktanandaji Maharaj (Secretary, Ramakrishna Math Bagbazar – Mayer Bari) presented a lecture on ‘Avatara Varishtha Sri Ramakrishna’.

The day concluded with an evening cultural program featuring a special Yatra titled ‘Surya Putre Karna,’ performed by a team from Ramakrishna Ashrama, Nimpith. The performance was attended by an audience of over 500 people.
