Distress and Winter Relief: Krishnanagar, Sep-Oct 2025

The Ramakrishna Mission, Krishnanagar, conducted a comprehensive Distress and Winter Relief operation for the poor and needy populations of the Nadia District between September 21 and October 5, 2025. This two-week initiative focused on distributing essential clothing and providing direct food service.

Distribution of Garments and Blankets

The Mission provided a wide array of new garments and blankets to prepare beneficiaries for the changing season and offer general relief. The distribution included:

  • 575 Saris
  • 225 Dhutis
  • 63 Uttariyas (shawls)
  • 167 sets of Garments
  • 187 Pants
  • 39 Shirts
  • 236 Blankets

A total of 1200 needy people of Bhaktinagar, Poragacha, Shibniwas, Bhatjangla, Bhutpara, Badkulla and Krishnanagar town, get benefitted.

Narayan Seva (Feeding the Poor)

In addition to the clothing distribution, the Ashrama performed a large-scale Narayan Seva (feeding the poor, viewing them as manifestations of God) on September 28, 2025. A total of 400 poor and needy people benefited from this compassionate service.
