These activities were part of the Math’s distress relief and social welfare initiatives.

With the approach of Durga Puja, 109 mothers from financially challenged backgrounds residing in and around the Dakshineswar area were offered sarees as part of the Ashrama’s distress relief programme.

Garment Distribution for Children (7 September)

In the evening of September 7, Durga Puja garments were distributed specifically among children residing in the nearby slum areas, ensuring they had new clothes for the festival.

Garment Distribution for Tribal People (8 September)

On 8 September 2025, the Dakshineswar centre conducted essential relief work at Payra Village, Khatra Block, Bankura, specifically targeting the local tribal community with a distribution of comprehensive garments and protective items, including Sarees, dhotis, lungis, T-shirts, children’s garments, and blankets.

Garment Distribution for Destitute and Workers (14 September)

New garments were distributed to a wider group of vulnerable individuals at Ramakrishna Math, Dakshineswar. The beneficiaries included destitute individuals, auto and rickshaw drivers, and Ganga water collectors, recognizing their difficult living conditions and essential services.
