Ramakrishna Math, Dakshineswar, conducted two Free Medical Camps between August and October 2025, providing medical consultation, treatment, and medicines to local residents.
Free Medical Camp at Dakshineswar (31 August)
A medical camp was held at Dakshineswar benefiting 62 patients. The services provided included consultation by qualified doctors, free distribution of medicines, and pathological tests.
Medical Camp at Chowberia, North 24 Parganas (17 October)
A larger medical camp was conducted in Chowberia, North 24 Parganas, where a total of 159 patients were treated.
- Support & Resources: The camp was supported by two volunteer doctors and the Govt. of West Bengal, which provided free medicines.
- Assistance: Volunteers from the Akhil Bharat Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal and the Ashrama ensured smooth operation and provided necessary assistance.
The two camps together served 221 patients, demonstrating the Math’s commitment to providing essential healthcare services to underprivileged communities, often in collaboration with government bodies and youth volunteer organizations.
