Ramakrishna Math, Dakshineshwar, conducted several spiritual retreats during September and October 2025, offering participants opportunities for intensive spiritual practice and reflection.
The 11th Residential Spiritual Retreat took place from September 5 to 7. This three-day retreat involved 14 devotees hailing from Howrah, Hooghly, and Kolkata. The central theme was Nirjanbas—Solitary Spiritual Practice as taught by Sri Ramakrishna—with talks delivered by Swami Hitakamanandaji Maharaj, Secretary of RKM Shillong. The programme successfully concluded with participants sharing their reflections on the experience, followed by the presentation of mementoes.
A separate day-long Spiritual Retreat for youth was held on October 5 at the Ashrama. This session was specifically organized for the young members of the Akhil Bharatiya Yuva Mahamandal, Nabadwip.
Following the youth retreat, a second Residential Spiritual Retreat was conducted from October 8 to 11. This four-day programme was attended by 13 male devotees who came from various ashramas situated across North 24 Parganas, underscoring the Math’s role as a regional hub for spiritual renewal.
