As part of its ongoing women’s welfare and livelihood support initiatives, Ramakrishna Math, Antpur distributed five sewing machines to deserving women beneficiaries on 28 April 2026.
All five recipients are residents of the locality in the immediate vicinity of the Math, and were identified on the basis of their need for sustainable means of livelihood. The distribution of sewing machines is aimed at empowering these women with a practical skill-based resource, enabling them to attain economic self-reliance.
The initiative reflects the Math’s continued dedication to the upliftment of marginalised sections of society in the spirit of selfless service.
