Ramakrishna Mission, Limbdi

The annual summer camp, Balbharati, was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Limbdi from 24 to 29 April 2026 at the historic Royal Palace (Tower Bungalow) premises of the ashrama. The camp was conducted for students of Classes 6 to 8, drawing participants from both government and private schools of the region.

A total of 325 students took part in the six-day residential camp, which was designed to foster holistic development through a structured blend of spiritual, cultural, and physical activities.

The daily programme encompassed Vedic chanting and prayers, instilling in the young participants a sense of reverence and discipline from the very outset of each day. Sessions on the Art of Living acquainted the students with fundamental principles of mindful and purposeful living. Self-defence training and yoga sessions were conducted to build physical fitness, mental alertness, and confidence among the youth.

The camp concluded with a Quiz Competition, followed by a prize distribution and certificate ceremony in which winners and meritorious participants were duly recognised and felicitated. Refreshments were provided to all students throughout the duration of the camp.

The Balbharati summer camp reflects Ramakrishna Mission, Limbdi’s enduring commitment to the all-round education of young minds, in the spirit of Swami Vivekananda’s vision of man-making and character-building.
