Free Healthcare Camps: Digboi, April 2026

Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi

Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi organised a series of free healthcare camps during the month of April 2026, extending medical assistance to the local community through allopathic, homeopathic, and immunization services.


12 April 2026 (Sunday)

Homeopathy Medical Camp

A free homeopathy medical camp was conducted on 12 April 2026 under the supervision of Dr. Ashis Kumar Kundu Nelli of Morigaon district. A total of 10 patients — 4 male and 6 female — were examined during the session. Homeopathic medicines were distributed to all patients in accordance with the prescriptions of the attending physician.

Free Allopathy Medical Camp

A free allopathy medical camp was also held on the same day, 12 April 2026, under the supervision of Dr. Arindam Ganguly of Sonari, Charaideo. A total of 30 patients received medical consultations, and free allopathic medicines were distributed as per the prescriptions of the medical officer. Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi has additionally established a collaboration with a local clinical laboratory to make diagnostic services available to patients at minimal cost.


26 April 2026 (Sunday)

Free Allopathy Medical Camp

A second free allopathy medical camp was organised on 26 April 2026, once again under the supervision of Dr. Arindam Ganguly of Sonari, Charaideo. A total of 32 patients — 9 male and 23 female — were medically examined, and free medicines were distributed as per the doctor’s prescriptions. The centre’s ongoing collaboration with a local clinical laboratory continued to provide patients with access to affordable diagnostic services.


29 April 2026 (Wednesday)

Free Routine Immunization Camp

A free Routine Immunization Camp was organised in collaboration with Digboi Urban Health and Wellness Centre (UHWC) under Ketetong Block Primary Health Centre (PHC). The camp was held at the ashram premises, providing immunization services to pregnant women and children up to 12 years of age. Tetanus-Diphtheria (TD) vaccines were administered — TD-1 to 3 pregnant women and TD-2 to 5 pregnant women. Children and youth up to 12 years of age also received the prescribed free immunizations under the programme. The total number of beneficiaries covered was 20.
