Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, in association with Kasiabari Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama and in collaboration with Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital, organised a free Eye Check-up and Cataract Surgery Camp at Kasiabari Hat, Jalpaiguri on 26th July, 2026.
A total of 102 patients were examined (Female: 64, Male: 38). Of these, 22 patients underwent cataract surgery, 16 patients received free spectacles, and 25 patients were provided free eye drops and medicines. Cooked Prasad was served to all at the conclusion of the camp.
The camp was conducted with dedicated support from the medical team of Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital, along with the monastics, volunteers, and staff of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri and Kasiabari Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama.
