On the auspicious occasion of Phalaharini Kali Puja, 16 May 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Ramharipur, witnessed a significant milestone in its educational endeavours with the inauguration of a Computer Laboratory for the primary section and a Smart Board for the secondary section of its school.
The Computer Laboratory, equipped with 14 computers, was formally inaugurated by Shri Himangshu Bakshi, Senior President, XPRO India Limited, Barjora, in the presence of the monks of the Ashrama, students, teachers, and members of the Managing Committee. The occasion brought together all stakeholders of the institution in a spirit of shared purpose and gratitude.
Both the Computer Laboratory and the Smart Board have been made possible through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds generously provided by XPRO India Limited, Barjora. These additions are expected to significantly enhance the quality of education imparted to the students of the Ashrama, equipping them with access to modern learning tools and technology.
The programme concluded with the serving of light refreshments to all those present.
