A significant and joyous occasion was observed at Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Chennai, on 28 May 2026, as Most Revered Srimat Swami Gautamananda ji Maharaj, President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, graced the centre with his holy presence.
Most Revered President Maharaj formally inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Entrance Welcome Arch Gate’ of the institution. He also laid the foundation stone for the proposed new auditorium, marking the commencement of a significant addition to the centre’s infrastructure. After the ceremonies, Most Revered President Maharaj blessed the assembled gathering.
The event was attended by a large number of monks, well-wishers, former students, members of the staff, and current students of the institution. Approximately 800 persons were present on the occasion, all of whom were served cooked prasad.
