Aryabhatta Mathematics Laboratory was inaugurated at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (Ekalvya Model Residential School), Jhargram, West Bengal. Swami Vidyanathananda, a monk of our Ramakrishna Order, who is also a Professor of Mathematics in the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, inaugurated the Mathematics Laboratory on the auspicious Janmashtami day, 24 August 2019.
The concept of Mathematics Laboratory is an innovative step to make mathematics — a fun to learn and easy to grasp subject. The method is effective, interesting and enjoyable. Mathematics plays a dominant role in one’s life, therefore the purpose of this Math Labs is to help students in application of mathematical concepts in real life situations.
