A student of the Evening College, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Chennai has brought distinction to the institution by winning the first place at a National Level Nanotechnology Quiz Competition, held as part of the Bengaluru India Nano — Nanotechnology Summit 2026, organised by the Government of Karnataka in Bengaluru from 3 to 5 August 2026.
The national quiz was conducted for undergraduate students across the country, with participants divided into four zones: North, South, East, and West. The competition comprised two online qualifying rounds, after which the top candidate from each zone advanced to the Grand Finals, held on ground in Bengaluru on 4 August 2026.
Sri Aryan Ghosh, a second-year student of B.Com (Accounting & Finance) at the Evening College, represented the South Zone and emerged victorious in the Grand Finals, earning the prestigious title of National Champion. He was awarded a certificate of merit, a cheque, and a cash prize of ₹50,000.
