On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol organised a Science Awareness Programme titled “Bigyan-Bhabana” on 3 August 2026 for the students of its Higher Secondary School.
Sri Tapan Mishra, Former Director, Space Applications Centre, ISRO, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He delivered an inspiring lecture on space science and the emerging opportunities in science and technology, drawing upon his distinguished experience at the forefront of India’s space research endeavours. The lecture was intended to kindle scientific curiosity and motivate the young students to aspire towards careers in science and technology.
All students and teachers of the school were present and participated actively in the programme.
