Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College (Autonomous) has proudly announced two significant national achievements, underscoring the intellectual caliber of its students. The successful duo, Aryan Ghosh and Tanish R, both first-year students from the Department of Accounting and Finance, Shift-2, represented the college in both competitions, securing top ranks across the nation.
1. National Winners: Colours of Glory Military Quiz 2025
On October 5, 2025, RKMVC achieved the highest honor in the Colours of Glory National Level Military Quiz 2025. The duo, Aryan Ghosh and Tanish R, emerged as National Winners, securing the first place among teams from across India. This competition was organized by retired military personnel and provided an exclusive online platform to test knowledge of India’s military heritage and defence affairs. The event’s structure included a preliminary round which culminated in a National Finale featuring six teams.
2. Third Runners-Up: HDFC ERGO Senior Quiz 2025
Earlier in the year, the students showcased their financial and business acumen at a major corporate event held in Mumbai. The team secured the National Third Runners-Up spot at the inaugural HDFC ERGO Senior Quiz 2025, held in Mumbai on July 21, 2025. This quiz drew massive participation, with almost 600 teams from institutions across India competing. For their outstanding performance, the students won a cash prize of ₹20,000, and the college was simultaneously awarded ₹10,000.
These dual successes reflect the dedication of the students and the strong foundation provided by Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College in fostering comprehensive intellectual excellence.
