Ramakrishna Math, Ramanathapuram observed National Sports Day 2026 with enthusiasm and discipline at its Nagachi Campus on 28 and 29 August 2026.
The celebration commenced at 8:30 a.m. on 28 August with a prayer to Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda. Swami Sutapananda addressed the gathering on the importance of games and sports, discipline, and physical fitness.
Nearly 400 students of the Ashrama school participated in a variety of games and sports, with prizes awarded to the winners. The celebration concluded successfully, having instilled in all participants a spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience.
