The National Youth Day was celebrated with pomp and grandeur on 12 January 2024 at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narainpur, Chhattisgarh. The Celebration started with a grand colourful procession from the Ashrama premises at 6.30 a.m. going through prominent streets of Narainpur city. More than 10,000 children from nearby Government and private schools of Narainpur along with the ashrama students, staff, and citizens participated in the procession. All of them were served light breakfast and lunch.
After the procession, the presentation of speech, recitation, solo dance, and group dance by the students from different schools started at 9 am at the Ashrama’s sports complex.
Mr. Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh was present as the chief guest in the main meeting at 11 am. Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Minister of Forest and Climate Change Department; Mr. Vikram Usendi, MLA Antagarh; and Mr. P. Sundarraj, I.G. (Bastar Region) were present as special guests.Â
The Chief Guest and the Special Guests spoke on Swamiji inspiring the children.
The audience was spellbound listening to speeches and watching cultural programs from the very beginning to the end.
