National Youth Day 2025: Kalyani

Ramakrishna Mission Kalyani celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2025 with a series of motivational activities. The highlight of the day was the program “Natun Bharat Jage” (A New India Awakens), held at the Vivekananda Auditorium, where over 350 students from 17 schools, along with students from various colleges and universities, participated.

The program commenced with Vedic chanting and inspiring songs performed by the participating students. Following this, the ‘Swadesh Mantra’ was chanted in unison, fostering a sense of national pride. Swami Pragyeshananda delivered a motivational speech, while the Ashrama Secretary inspired the students with captivating anecdotes from the life of Swami Vivekananda.

The program also included the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of an Essay Competition held during the 5-day workshop on “Cultural Heritage of India (Amar Bharat Amor Bharat)” in September 2024. Additionally, prizes were awarded to the winners of a Spot Quiz Competition conducted during the Kalyani Book Fair in December 2024.

The program culminated with an inspiring and uplifting presidential address by Revered Swami Vimalatmanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, who motivated the youth to strive for personal and societal excellence.
