National Youth Day was celebrated on 12 January 2026 with great fervor and enthusiasm at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Garbeta. The event centered on an extensive Youth Program that brought together approximately 700 students from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Garbeta, and various nearby schools.
Program Highlights:
- Procession & Rituals: The celebrations commenced with a Prabhat Pheri (morning procession), followed by Vedic chanting and devotional singing.
- Educational Activities: The session included readings (Path) and discussions centered on the life and legacy of Swami Vivekananda.
- Media Screening: A documentary titled “A Life of Purpose,” detailing the life of Swami Vivekananda, was screened for the participants.
Tiffin and cooked Khichuri Prasada were served to over 800 individuals, including students and their guardians.
