On Monday, 12 January 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, observed the 164th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and National Youth Day with deep reverence. The event saw enthusiastic participation from a wide cross-section of the community, all gathered to honor Swamiji’s enduring legacy.

- Total Attendees: The gathering of 804 individuals comprised 633 students, 42 teachers, and 129 admirers of Swamiji’s ideals.

- Keynote Speakers: Sri Y. Raghuvanshi, IPS (Superintendent of Police, Jalpaiguri) and Sri Prashant Sahoo (Senior Divisional Manager, LIC, Jalpaiguri Division) delivered addresses focused on discipline, leadership, patriotism, and character-building.
- Monastic Guidance: Swami Shivapremananda spoke to the youth, drawing motivation from the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
