In commemoration of National Youth Day, Ramakrishna Math, Kochi, organized a series of educational, spiritual, and charitable activities aimed at empowering the youth and serving the community.
- Youth Competitions: To spread the life and message of Swami Vivekananda, the Math conducted Elocution, Essay Writing, and Quiz competitions. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 388 school students.
- Awards Ceremony (10 Jan 2026): The prize distribution was graced by distinguished guests, including Sri Narendran K.C. (former CEO of Jio Reliance Infocomm & Bharti Airtel), Sri Mahesh Mohan (DGM, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham), and Ms. Aiswarya P.
- NSS Youth Convention (12 Jan 2026): Thirty NSS volunteers from ‘The Cochin College’ participated in a spiritual retreat at the Math. The session included meditation, a discourse, and an interactive Q&A session, followed by lunch prasad.
- Service to Humanity (Seva): Embodying the ideal of “Service as Worship,” the Math distributed high-quality nutritional kits (comprising 1kg Apples, 1kg Guavas, 500g Dates, and 200g Almonds) to 250 patients at the Government Ayurveda College Hospital and the Taluk Headquarters Hospital in Tripunithura.
