Ramakrishna Mission, Puri, commemorated the 164th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and the 42nd National Youth Day with a series of inspiring events on 12 January 2026.
- Commemorative Procession: The celebrations began at 7:30 am with a spirited students’ procession. Starting from the Ashrama premises, participants carried placards featuring Swami Vivekananda’s iconic photos and motivational messages. The route covered major landmarks, including Acharya Harihar Chhaka, Subhash Bose Square, PKDA Square, and SCS College Road, before returning to the Ashrama.
- Public Meeting: Following the procession, a public meeting was held within the Mission premises. Speakers addressed the gathering, urging students to imbibe Swamiji’s teachings into their daily lives to successfully achieve their dreams and goals.
- Refreshments: At the conclusion of the program, snacks and tiffin packets were served to all participating students, teachers, devotees, and volunteers.
