Ramakrishna Mission, Ujjain, commemorated National Youth Day on 12 January 2026 with vibrant programs across multiple educational and public venues. The day’s events were designed to inspire the youth with Swami Vivekananda’s message of character building and national service.
The celebrations began at 10:00 a.m. at Government Degree College and Higher Secondary School, Kaytha, where students and faculty reflected on Swamiji’s vision for youth empowerment. This was followed by an 11:30 a.m. session at Akshat International School, highlighting the contemporary relevance of Swamiji’s thoughts.
The day culminated in a large-scale public outreach event at 7:00 p.m. in Freeganj, the heart of Ujjain city. This evening program drew a significant gathering of both students and the general public. In total, approximately 1,500 participants attended the various sessions throughout the day. To further the message, 700 copies of the book “Vivekananda Rashtra Ke Aahavan” were distributed, reinforcing the Mission’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible citizens.
