A new Dialysis Unit in Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal was inaugurated on 19 November 2020 by Sri Ravi Shankar, District Magistrate, Haridwar and Dr Sandip Tanwar, Vice-President of Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun. A special puja was offered to Thakur, Maa and Swamiji by the monks and Brahmacharins of the Sevashrama on 18 November 2020.
A formal inaugural function was held on 19 November in which Sri Ravi Shankar and Swami Tanmayananda ji , Senior Monk of the Ashrama did the ribbon cutting. Dr Sandip Tanwar and Dr Puneet Arora, Senior Consultant Nephrologist- Max Dehradun had done the lamp lighting along with other dignitaries and Monks of the Sevashrama. A public meeting was held after the formal inauguration. All the dignitaries addressed the meeting in which the doctors and other staffs participated. The District Magistrate openly appreciated and promised to support all the noble services being rendered by the Sevashrama.
The dialysis centre has 5 high tech machines along with the well-trained staff. The unit will be led by the Honorary Nephrologist Dr Puneet Arora.
