A series of Personality Development Camps was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashrama, Raipur, on 6 April 2026 across the districts of Kabirdham and Bemetara in Chhattisgarh. The program was conducted in three distinct sessions at different educational institutions to inspire and guide the youth.
Schedule and Venues
The day-long initiative commenced at 09:30 am and concluded at 03:30 pm. The sessions were held as follows:
- Acharya Panth Sri Grudhmuni Naam Saheb Government Degree College, Kabirdham: 09:30 am to 10:30 am.
- Samadhan College, Bemetara: 12:00 pm to 01:00 pm.
- Government Navin College, Dadhi, Bemetara: 02:15 pm to 03:30 pm.
Highlights of the Programme
The proceedings at each venue began with a welcome address delivered by the respective Principals of the colleges.
The keynote speakers for the function were Swami Prapattyananda, Editor at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Ashrama, Raipur, and Dr. Vinit Kumar Sahu. They addressed the students on various aspects of character building and the importance of moral values in achieving success.
The sessions were presided over by distinguished guests, including Shri Sharma (IQAC In-charge), Dr. Avdhesh Patel (Principal), and Shri Dubey, who shared their insights with the participants.
Participation and Outreach
The camps saw enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members. The attendance details are as follows:
- Govt. Degree College, Kabirdham: 70 students and 15 teachers.
- Samadhan College, Bemetara: 190 students and 15 teachers.
- Govt. Navin College, Dadhi: 60 students and 15 teachers.
In total, approximately 320 students and 45 teachers attended the programs. At the conclusion of each session, the booklet authored by Swami Vivekananda, titled “Saflata ke Sopan,” was distributed to all attendees to further encourage their spiritual and personal growth.
