Salem centre handed over 90  glucometres,  10  digital  BP  apparatuses,  533 oxygen masks, 50 oxygen-flow meters, 100 endotracheal tubes, 50 CPAP paediatric masks, 50 BP paediatric cuffs, 100 paediatric nasal prongs, 4 vein detectors, 2 height measuring scales, 5 laryngoscopes, 10 paediatric weight machines and 20 infrared thermometers to a government hospital in Salem on 6 September.

Dinajpur centre distributed 250 kg rice, 50 kg pulses, 250 kg potatoes, 25 litres cooking oil, 50 kg salt and 50 bars of soap among 40 families in Dinajpur district on 23 September.

Fiji centre distributed 5930 kg rice, 2965 kg flour, 1186 kg split peas, 445 litres cooking oil, 593 kg salt, 59 kg tea leaves, 267 kg milk powder, 434 packets of assorted seeds, 59 sanitary pads, 81 assorted clothes, 75 baby quilts, 15 pairs of shoes and 376 pairs of socks among 593 families in and around Nadi in August and September. The centre also distributed 6,98,760 N-95 face masks, 49 hospital beds with mattresses, 4 ECG machines, 2 examination beds, 8 drip stands, 3 wooden cabinets, 22 bedside cabinets, 6 first-aid boxes, 109 litres hand sanitizer, 55 chairs with desks, 92 linens, 92 pillow covers, 6 dual crutches, 2 vitals monitors and 4 rollators to 5 hospitals and a health centre in Fiji in August and September.

Durban centre, along with its sub-centres, served cooked food to 2755 people and distributed 1020 kg rice, 271 kg pulses, 130 kg pasta, 271 litres cooking oil, 181 kg salt, 364 kg porridge, 359 kg sugar, 254 kg samp, 44 kg soya mince, 35,900 tea bags, 268 kg maize meal, 267 cans of jam, 569 canned beans, 89 kg cake flour, 222 litres milk, 75 vegetable hampers, 311 packets of soup, 337 bars of washing soap, 337 bars of bathing soap, 225 matchboxes and 445 loaves of bread among 481 families in various parts of South Africa in August. The centre also distributed clothes, blankets and other necessaries among 102 people in August.

Phoenix centre, along with its Johannesburg sub-centre, distributed 1930 kg rice, 900 kg maize meal, 220 kg cereals, 40 kg wheat flour, 1330 kg pulses, 725 kg potatoes, 725 kg onions,70 kg noodles, 90 kg assorted spices, 240 kg salt, 750 litres cooking oil, 990 cans of tinned food, 35 kg soup  powder,  24,300  tea  bags,  384  litres  milk,  260  kg  sugar,  3794 breakfast cereal sachets, 150 cakes, 36 packets of snacks, 160 tubes of toothpaste, 500 matchboxes, 700 bars of soap, 480 adult napkins and 131 litres detergent in  The centre also provided a litre of milk and a loaf of bread each to 14 families thrice a week, and LP gas cylinders to 13 families. The centre gave 10 oxygen concentrators to a medical facility.

Batticaloa sub-centre of the Colombo branch distributed 2500 kg rice, 1900 kg flour, 500 kg pulses, 50 kg chickpeas, 250 kg soya chunks, 100 kg nutrient powder, 50 kg tea powder and 500 kg sugar among 500 families in Mannar and Batticaloa districts on 25 and 26 September.

Lusaka centre served 100 food packets, and distributed 500 kg maize meal, 25 litres cooking oil, 50 kg salt, 50 kg sugar and 50 bars of soap among 50 families and gave 200 kg maize meal to an orphanage in Lusaka in August.

Incessant torrential rains over the last two weeks breached the embankments of Keleghai and Kapaleshwari rivers causing floods in Purba and Paschim Medinipur districts in West Also, floods triggered by incessant rains caused damage to life and property in some parts of Assam, Bihar and Gujarat in August and September. In the wake of the calamity, some of our centres conducted relief operations; details of the same are given below:

Belgharia centre, Kolkata, distributed 1076 kg muri (puffed rice), 2152 kg pulses,538 kg green gram, 538 kg soya chunks, 1076 litres cooking oil, 215 kg assorted spices, 1076 kg sugar, 269 kg milk powder, 53,800 halogen tablets, 2152 bars of soap, 1076 saris and 1076 lungis among 1076 families of Sabang block in Paschim Medinipur district on 27 September.

Chandipur centre served 1,11,117 plates of cooked food among the affected people and distributed 4818 kg chira and 1927 kg sugar among 9635 families of Patashpur I & II and Bhagabanpur I blocks of Purba Medinipur district from 17 to 26 September.

Contai centre distributed 10,530 kg chira, 1608 kg sugar, 3785 kg muri and 5920 packets of biscuits among 4020 families in Purba Medinipur district from 20 to 27 September.

Jhargram centre served cooked food to 670 people and distributed 36 tarpaulins inJhargram district from 15 to 22 September.

Kasundia centre, Howrah, distributed 450 kg rice, 150 kg pulses, 48 kg soya chunks, 450 kg potatoes, 75 kg salt and 150 bars of soap among 150 families in Howrah district on 31 August.

Naora centre distributed 3000 kg rice, 600 kg pulses, 1200 kg potatoes, 300 kg soya chunks, 600 litres cooking oil and 600 packets of biscuits among 600 families in South 24 Parganas district on 24 and 25 September.

Saradapitha centre, Belur, distributed 300 kg chira, 300 kg sugar, 550 kg muri,55 kg soya chunks, 55 kg milk powder, 550 packets of biscuits, 1014 saris and 1010 lungis among 964 families in Purba Medinipur, North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas districts from 25 August to 5 September.

Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House, Kolkata, served 31,980 plates of cooked food, and distributed 1040 kg chira, 700 kg sugar and 1040 packets of biscuits among 1040 families in Purba Medinipur and Paschim Medinipur districts from 19 to 24 September.

Deoghar:200 saris from 19 to 21 September.

Dibrugarh:40 kg wheat flour, 20 kg pulses, 10 kg soya chunks, 20 kg salt, 10 kg oil, 10 kg chira, 10 kg sugar, 20 packets of biscuits and 40 bars of bathing soap on 8

Gourhati:300 saris from 7 to 22 September.

Hatamuniguda:91 saris, 91 lungis and 91 bed sheets on 26 September.

Jamtara:500 saris and 500 lungis from 13 to 18 September.

Jhargram:535 shirts, 252 tops, 399 saris, 306 lungis, 661 blankets and 144 mosquito nets from 10 August to 18 September.

Kamarpukur:1506 saris on 29 August.

Medinipur:100 saris, 100 lungis and 100 mosquito nets on 26 September.

Raiganj:200 saris and 100 lungis on 26 September.

Sinthi (Beni Pal Udyan) centre, Kolkata, distributed 375 kg rice, 12 kg pulses, 100 kg potatoes, 23 kg gram, 15 litres cooking oil, 1 kg spices and 7 kg salt from 1 to 31 August.

Vadodara: 1700 packets of snacks, 1700 notebooks and 850 education kits (each kit containing 5 pens, a pencil, an eraser, a sharpener, a scale a water-colour box and a geometric box) in August and September.

Vrindaban:200 kg rice, 200 kg wheat flour, 50 kg pulses, 50 litres cooking oil, 100 kg salt, 50 kg sugar, 20 kg milk powder, 10 kg tea leaves, 100 bananas and 100 bars of bathing soap on 31 August,

Bagerhat:101 saris on 26 September.

Narayanganj:2460 kg rice, 1640 kg flour, 820 kg pulses and 410 kg salt on 31 August.

Thanjavur Math renovated two houses and a tiffin shop of two poor men in Thiruthuraipoondi (Thiruvarur district) and Thanjavur in August.
