On the premises of Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai a free Covid vaccination centre is operated and managed by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) in which 2817 doses were administered between 25 March 2022 to 23 April 2022.
Moreover, under the Holy Mother Welfare Programme the centre carried out the following welfare activities at Shiroshi Group Gram Panchayat, & Daskod Morchapada Group Gram Panchayat, Taluka Jawhar, Dist. Palghar:
I. Distribution of 420 nos. of Dry Ration Kits consisting of hygiene & nutritious products focusing on women & children at Village Shiroshi of Shiroshi Group Gram Panchayat on 26 March 2022. Each Kit is comprised of 1kg. Akha Masoor, 1 Kg. Green Moong, 1 Kg. Lal Chana, 2pkts of Soyabean (200 gm each), Margo Soap (8 pieces), 1kg Washing Powder, 2nos. of Tooth Paste (100gm each), 1Kg. Milk Powder, 1Kg. Tur Dal, 2Kg Jaggery, 200ml Bottle of Coconut Hair Oil, 1 Kg. Salt, Half Kg. Groundnut. Also, 125 packets of Biscuits and Chikki were distributed amongst School Children of Zilla Parishad School at Shiroshi Gram Panchayat.
II. Inauguration of Solar-Based Drinking Water System at Village Shiroshi under Shiroshi Group Gram Panchayat on 26 March 2022.
III. New batch comprising 21 students was started on 26 March 2022 at Maa Sarada Shivankam Prashikshan Kendra (Tailoring School) at Village Shiroshi.
IV. Inauguration of New Well constructed for the supply of drinking water, Solar Based Drinking Water Distribution System, and Storage Tank (10000 Ltrs) at village Dahvadpada of Daskod Morchapada Group Gram Panchayat on 22 April 2022
