On 26 March 2026, the occasion of the Holy Ashtami Snan at Langalbandh—a site of historical significance visited by Swami Vivekananda in 1901—Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sangha, in association with Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Narayanganj, organized a comprehensive relief camp. Despite heavy rainfall for two hours, the volunteers successfully managed the massive gathering on the national holiday (Independence Day).
Service Highlights
- Nutritional Support: Approximately 3,800 packets containing puffed rice and sugar candies were distributed, along with 5,000 bottles of water.
- Medical Aid: Volunteers with medical backgrounds provided first aid and support to 23 devotees. 1,800 packets of Oral Saline were also distributed to help devotees manage hydration in the dense crowds.
