On 14 September 2026, Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal held a formal inauguration ceremony for a solar power installation at its school premises. The installation was made possible through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contribution by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Guwahati, which donated solar panels of 60 kW and 40 kW capacity, along with a 25 KVA generator set.
The solar infrastructure is expected to provide reliable and sustainable power to more than 1,400 students and staff associated with the institution. The contribution forms part of the centre’s green energy initiative and is expected to reduce recurring electricity expenditure, thereby enabling greater allocation of resources towards its educational and charitable activities.
