The Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, Agartala, Tripura West, successfully hosted the Sri Ramakrishna-Sarada-Vivekananda Bhavanuragi Sammelan on Sunday, the 5th of January 2025.
The inaugural session, held at the Vivekananda Sabhagriha, began with a collective meditation and chanting of Vedic hymns and the 15th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita by Swami Bhaktidananda, Swami Dayasarananda, Swami Buddhirupananda, Swami Devyananda, Br. Sarveshachaitanya Mj, Br. Sandip Mj, and Br. Rajesh Mj. This was followed by the chanting of the “Brahma Rupamadi Madhye Shesha Sarva” stotra, led by Swami Buddhirupananda. Swami Shubhakarananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, delivered the welcome address. The session concluded with the offering of Arati to the Divine by Swami Mahabhadrananda ji and the offering of Pushpanjali.
The subsequent sessions, titled “Vivek Anudhyan,” “Matri Anadhyan,” and “Sri Ramakrishna Anudhyan,” focused on the lives and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, Sri Sarada Devi, and Sri Ramakrishna respectively. Each session included group songs, readings from the respective scriptures (Swamijir Patravali, Sri Sri Mayer Katha, and The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna), and insightful discourses by eminent monks.
- Vivek Anudhyan: Swami Mahaprajnananda Maharaj, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math, delivered a discourse on “Swami Vivekananda in our daily Life.”
- Matri Anadhyan: Swami Asimatmananda Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, spoke on “Sri Sarada Devi in our daily life.”
- Sri Ramakrishna Anudhyan: Swami Bodhasarananda Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, addressed the gathering on “Sri Ramakrishna in our daily life.”
The afternoon session included devotional songs by the Music Team, Duranta, Agartala, followed by a question-answer session. Swami Bodhasarananda Maharaj delivered the concluding remarks and benediction. Justice Swapan Chandra Das, President, Managing Committee, Ramakrishna Mission, Viveknagar, offered the vote of thanks. The event concluded with the singing of “Ramakrishna Sharanam” by Swami Buddhirupananda Mj.
The Sri Ramakrishna-Sarada-Vivekananda Bhavanuragi Sammelan provided a valuable platform for participants to deepen their understanding of the lives and teachings of the Holy Trinity and to explore ways to integrate these teachings into their daily lives.
