Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru organized a summer camp (Vasanta Vihara )from 12 – 19 April 2019 where 170 students registered for the camp.
The components of the daily schedule of the camp were singing bhajans, yoga, classes on the Holy Trio’s life and teachings, Ramayana and Mahabharata, and ideal student, Art and craft, hand writing skills. Games and other competitions were also held during the camp.
The camp concluded on 19 April. An unique event, Matru Vandana, wherein students worship their mother was held on the concluding day. Students displayed yoga pyramids, performed skit on the stories of Sri Ramakrishna, sang devotional and patriotic songs, and performed Bharatanatyam.
Around 350 parents had participated in all these events. Participation certificate for students and prizes were awarded for winners in different competitions.
