Samskar-2023, the Ten-day Summer Camp for 57 registered teenagers (Class 9th to 12th) organised by Vivekananda Cultural Center (A Unit of Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai) from 1st to 10th May 2023. This year the theme of the camp was Learn-Cultivate-Apply! The camp consisted of Yoga, Bhajans, Vedic chanting, Motivational talks, and creative art.
The unique thing about this Valedictory session was that–it was fully conducted by the enthusiastic students themselves, who happily came forward to compere, introduce, felicitate the Chief Guest, prompt students and parents to the stage for their valuable sharing of experience, and finally also gave the Vote of Thanks.
Parents appreciated the change in attitude of their children observed at home during this Summer Camp. Students also expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the variety of rich learning experiences and expressed their wish for a longer camp next time!
