Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Visakhapatnam conducted Balavikas summer camp for School Children of 10 to 15 years of age group (2nd standard to 10th Standard – Graders) from 1st to 15 May 2023. More than 150 Students participated in the camp.
During this camp, children were taught Yoga-asanas, Bhajans and Chanting, Meditation, Moral Stories, Arts and Crafts, etc., besides classes on Personality development. Some Competitions were also conducted in which children participated enthusiastically.
The children made a tour of the Doll Exhibition of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swami Vivekananda in the Ashrama.
On 15th May 2023, a Concluding function was held wherein Winners of the competition were awarded. And other Children also were given Consolation gifts. Volunteers who helped in the camp were presented with books of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swamiji.
