A three-day residential Youth Camp was organised by Ramakrishna Mission, Kalyani from 17 to 20 July 2026. Twenty young participants, aged between 18 and 30 years, attended the programme.
The daily schedule encompassed prayer, meditation, yoga, and structured sessions on India’s spiritual heritage, Yoga Chatushtaya, character building, self-reliance, and personality development — all oriented towards inspiring purposeful, value-based living among the youth.
A series of virtual sessions were conducted by Swami Sunirmalananda, Minister-in-Charge, Ramakrishna Vedanta Vereniging, The Netherlands; Swami Shuddhidananda, President, Advaita Ashrama, Mayavati; and Swami Pratibodhananda, Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal. In-person sessions were delivered by Swami Atmashraddhananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai; Swami Kripakarananda, Belur Math; and Swami Vedanuragananda, Vice Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara. Revered Brahmacharins and distinguished teachers also participated in guiding the participants.
A team of four doctors conducted lectures and demonstrations on the management of medical emergencies.
As part of the programme, participants visited Belur Math, where they sought the blessings of the Most Revered President Maharajji.
The camp deepened the participants’ spiritual understanding and reinforced values of discipline, service, and dedication, in alignment with the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
