On 21 December 2025, Ramakrishna Mission, Kamarpukur organized a cleanliness drive titled “Swachh Bharat – Swachh Kamarpukur.” Around 130 participants, including local clubs and residents, enthusiastically joined the initiative.
To ensure wider coverage of the sacred Kamarpukur area, the volunteers were divided into two groups. The cleaning activity began at 7:45 a.m. and included the interior village localities, hospital premises, Kamarpukur Chati, and the area surrounding the statue of Swami Vivekananda. The teams returned by 10:30 a.m.
All participants were served breakfast after the drive and noon prasad upon returning to the Ashrama.
The programme was successfully conducted, contributing significantly to maintaining the cleanliness and sanctity of the village, and promoting awareness on community responsibility and hygiene.
