Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Kamarpukur Ashrama celebrated National Sports Day 2026 on 29 and 30 August 2026 under the theme Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat. As school examinations were scheduled on 28 August, the activities were consolidated over the following two days in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
29 August: The day commenced with lectures by two students and a teacher, attended by 900 students. In the evening, an inter-school football match was held between the Ashrama school and Vivekananda Sporting Club, with the Ashrama school emerging victorious. Tiffin was served to all attendees after the match.
30 August: A Cycle Rally was conducted from 8:30 a.m., covering a distance of 4 kilometres from the school to Kamarpukur Chatti and back to College More. 200 students participated enthusiastically. Tiffin was served to all participants on their return.
