Relief Services by Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, August 2018

As a part of our continuing flood relief work in Kerala, Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, concluded the third phase of relief work, from 24 to 28 August 2018. It began on the auspicious occasion of Onam festival with the distribution of relief materials to 43 children. On the same day, the Ashrama distributed relief materials to 39 affected families of Melur village.

On the following day (25 August), relief materials were distributed to 57 affected families in Kothamangalam IHDP Colony, Koyilandy.

On 26th August, the Ashrama distributed relief materials, containing 20 items in each kit, to 246 affected families at Irutti block, situated in the foothills, in Kannur dist.

On 27th August, relief materials were distributed to 58 affected families from Chengottukavu village in our Math.

On 28th August, relief materials were given to 42 affected families in Panthalayani block, Koyilandy.


Updates : 24 August 2018

As part of the on-going relief work in Kerala, Ramakrishna Math, Koyilandy, distributed rice, dal and other food items, 354 families in the fishermen colony of the coastal area in Koyilandy, from 18 to 22 August 2018.  On 23 August, the Ashrama distributed rice and dal to flood affected 155 families near our Koyilandy Ashrama.
