A Youth Convention was organised by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Gurap in collaboration with Maharampur Motilal Vidyamandir on 11 September 2026, to mark the 133rd Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions, Chicago.
The proceedings commenced with a welcome address, followed by recitations of Swami Vivekananda’s historic speech of 11 September 1893 in both Bengali and English. The Secretary of the Ashrama delivered a motivational lecture on the topic “Impact of Swamiji’s Lectures on the International Community.” The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
A total of 200 students participated in the event.
