On the occasion of the 133rd Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions, Chicago, on 11 September 1893, Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip organised a special programme on 11 September 2026.
A film show on Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address was screened for teachers and underprivileged students enrolled in the Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP), Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa (VAP), and the Free Coaching Centre (FCC) conducted by the Ashrama.
In the evening, Prof. Dr. Siharan Chakraborty, President, Managing Committee, Ramakrishna Mission, Nabadwip, delivered a special lecture on the subject. Approximately 100 participants, including local youths, attended the programme. Dr. Chakraborty spoke on the profound impact of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address and its role in the spiritual and national awakening of India.
