To commemorate the 133rd Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Addresses, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru organised three full-day educational symposiums for youth and professionals from 9 to 11 September 2026.
The three symposiums were held on successive days, each designed for a distinct audience. On 9 September, Shraddha was conducted as a symposium for postgraduate students. On 10 September, Medha was organised for teachers and aspiring teachers. On 11 September, Prajna was held for students of professional courses.
Each symposium comprised an inaugural session, addresses by resource persons on the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s message and related themes, and a panel discussion on topics pertaining to youth, their future, and nation-building through character development.
In total, around 2,200 students, youth, and teachers from approximately 42 educational institutions participated across the three days. All delegates were provided with tea and snacks, lunch, complimentary booklets, and participation certificates.
